Facilities for the research group

We are based in Lab E27 of the Dainton Building in Chemistry. The group has a separate write-up room with desk space, computers, storage, etc.

The laboratory is very well equipped, with glassware, rotary evaporators, high vacuum pumps, oven, fridge-freezer, kugelrohr, inert gases, and other equipment.

There is a wide selection of analytical facilities. There are five high field NMR spectrometers (a 500 MHz and four 400 MHz machines), IR machines, ReactIR, mass spectrometers (including LC-MS, GC-MS), elemental analysis, X-ray crystallography, microwave, polarimetry, HPLC and gas chromatography, including chiral columns.
